IPM Workshop on Heavy Quarks and Higgs Boson Physics

Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences(IPM)

February 2-3, 2016 ( 13-14 Bahman 1394)

The standard model of particle physics provides almost a complete description of the elementary particles and their interactions, precisely describing present data up to the highest currently available TeV scale energies at the LHC. This success completed with the discovery of the Higgs boson by the LHC ATLAS and CMS collaborations in 2012. However, the SM has some shortcomings, and the particle physicists need to identify the correct extension of the SM above the electroweak scale. This workshop will aim to offer a review of some recent theoretical developments and experimental results from the LHC on Higgs boson, top quark, and bottom quark physics.

We will be accepting abstracts for a poster session. Abstracts must be submitted by 10th of January 2016.
