Alimohammadi's Prize: for an Excellent PhD Dissertation

Dr. Shahin. Rouhani receives Khwarizmi International Award in the category of basic sciences for his research on the Conformal Field Theoris.

This award was given for his contributions to the field of conformal field theory, in particular logarithmic conformal field theory (LCFT) and Schramm Leowner Evolution (SLE). As well as contributions to the methods and structure of this field they were able to find applications of LCFT to turbulance, magnetohydrodynamics and applications of SLE to analysis of laboratory grown surfaces.

Kharazmi Young Researcher Prize has gone to M. Mohammadi Najafabadi of Particles School and Accelerators. More info
